the animals were well kept, the environment was very well kept. Clean, well organized, and not too crowded. The zoo offered many rare animals that you cannot find in the area - not in birmingham, chattanooga, charleston, and jacksonville. I mean there's a panda in the zoo....i mean its worth it to see one for once. but after you've seen it, its not worht the price of admission
