I've been to Central Computers a few times, the first time to get a external firewire hard drive enclosure, and other times, just to look around for stuff in general. Their prices are pretty moderate in general, but they do have weekly specials and you can get a good deal if you get something on that list. I got my enclosure for $40 a year or two ago (which was a good price at the time - and even now) and the enclosure has been working well for me ever since I got it. It's a small store (not Fry's or anything) so their selection is a little limited, but the it's a lot easier to find stuff you need from Central.
