C Bros is dreadful. First, to make an appointment, I had to talk to three different people, who all put me on hold. They said they could be out late the next day. I told them to make it easy, come first thing the following day, because it was an all-day job. They said between 10-1. ??? They never showed up or called. I called at 3pm, and they apologized and said they would be out the next day between 1-4, and would give me a $50 credit.
They didn't show up until after 5pm, but the guy they sent, Mikey, was really good. Polite, professional, and explained everything he was doing as he diagnosed the problem. He then gave us a quote for $1900 which we thought was high for one day's work and less than $200 in parts.
Out of convenience, we agreed to the $1900. The next morning, (late again) they sent out Barry, who immediately bragged about how good he was, and how there was no way they could do the job for less than $4000, because the parts were more than $2000. I tuned out the rest of his amazing BS, and decided to do it myself, and saved $1700.
I will never call Christian Brothers again.
