A few weeks ago, my beloved husky punctured my asthma inhaler. At first I thought he just chewed on it and was fine. But hours later, I found him lying down having violent muscle tremors -- he couldn't even stand up. In my complete panic, my boyfriend helped me rush him to Emerald City at ~11PM. He'd taken my little dog there for an eye injry and said they were fantastic. He was right. Unsurprisingly, they'd never had a case where a dog overdosed on asthma medication. But they snapped to action by getting info from Animal Poison Control and figuring out how to save my dog from having a heart attack. They immediately took his vitals and started monitoring him. I had to leave him there overnight so he could be on an IV to lower his heartrate and get critical electrolytes. By morning, he was back to normal - they'd save his life with the heart medication and potassium! The staff (especially Deondra) were very helpful and caring, and calmed me down every time I called to check in. I definitely recommend them.
