I have been a customer of Rapids RV for several years. The wife and I have purchased two brand new Jayco trailers there, and we're working on purchasing our third. When it comes to price, they are very competitive. I campared every Jayco dealer in the state of Wisconsin on both purchases and on the first trailer(2013 Jayco Jayfeather X213) Rapids RV was the lowest price I could find. When we purchased the second trailer(2014 Jayco Whitehawk 28dsbh) I found a lower price, but Bob matched it. When it came to service, I only had one minor issue with the first trailer. With my current Jayco, I had a issue with the water heater that was repaired under warranty. During that same time period, I had a part fail in one of the brake drums. They sent someone to my house, repaired the brake, and towed the trailer back to the shop, so they could repair the water heater. Bob always took my trailer in right away, even during the busy camping season. Todd and the service department always worked hard to repair and return my trailer to me as quickly as possible. The latest issue I had, happened 6 months out of warranty. I worked with Jayco and Rapids RV and they approved and performed the repair to my satisfaction. When you purchase a new trailer, you're always going to have bugs to work out in the first couple of years. It's important to buy from a manufacturer and a dealer, that will stand behind their products. Jayco and Rapids RV both do this very well, with personalized customer service.
