Your service person was exceptional however having the nerve to charge $242 for a capacitor available on Amazon for $18.29 borders on criminal activity.
I would have been happy to pay a reasonable service charge and fair price in parts but paying $400 for 20 min work is more that my son the orange county attorney charges!
So bottom line is that when it comes to any future HVAC work both your company and Home Depot will be the very last place Ill look.
and BTW since I did have the choice of declining the work, I wont bother posting on Yelp even though I am still frustrated.
