I have a 20 year old son with autism. I made the instructors aware before classes started. If you are familiar with autism, you will know that it is more of a communication disorder than a learning disorder. I was allowed to observe what they were teaching, then re-enforce and sometimes explain in a different manner for him to understand. He probably had to work much harder than other students, and I had to be very involved to ensure his success. He passed both the state test (92% on both) and got his license today. We never had problems scheduling drives. Scheduling state tests was very easy as well. Thank you Scott and Christina!
