The Martin Water installation conducted by David and Matt was professional, timely and superbly orchestrated. David called at 8:00 AM sharp on the day of installation (June 17, 2015) giving me an ETA. He arrived right on time. Both young men were courteous, good communicators and clearly experienced in their trades. Once access to the installation site was provided, your team went straight to work. Knowing that we would be without water, David prioritized his work plan to install the PH balancer, Water softener, UV bacteria mitigation unit and the reverse osmosis devices including associated plumbing so as to minimize interruption to the goings on of household activities.
At one point, while observing your team at work, I noted as David was installing PVC piping that he utilized a level to ensure proper (square) alignment and an aesthetically “clean” look. Clearly he is proud of his trade and is able to produce a professional result.
Once the installation was complete, David and Matt spent time walking me through the monitoring and maintenance procedures and explained that for a few days we would experience a small odor associated with clorox and curing of the glues used to join the myriad fittings.
Late in the day following the installation I observed a water leak growing in intensity. I placed the system in by-pass, and sent an e-mail at 10:00 PM that evening. Martin Water replied immediately and planned for a technician to drive straight out to our home the next morning. Again, a call came in at 8:00 AM with an ETA. JJ arrived right on time and quickly diagnosed the problem to a manufacturing defect internal to the UV bacteria mitigation device (not an installation error). JJ’s experience and on-board parts inventory resolved the matter quickly.
So here we are 9 days on our new Martin Water filtration systems and what an incredible change! I repeated the test that Martin Water originally conducted with the small water container filling half way with tap water, placing in 3 drops of Dawn dish detergent, swirling it, and observed crystal clear results, unlike our untreated water! There is no more copper tint on our white sinks, the water tastes fantastic and the softener produces super nice water for our showers. We’ve also noted that glasses (especially our nice wine glasses) coming out of the dishwasher are much cleaner and do not have drip-ring residue of white scale. Perfect results indeed!
