I have always been skeptical of taking my FJ Cruiser to the dealer because after a service such as an oil change, they give a laundry list of services that they say you need which may potentially cost more money than necessary for an unnecessary services. I even tried Firestone and although they are less than the dealer, they are some drawbacks such as using less quality parts or in some cases also recommending services that are not needed. I decided enough was enough and I needed to find a car repair shop that specializes in repairing Toyota's. I found LexTechs online and read the positive reviews and decided to give them a try. The reviews were spot on about the customer service, accurately assessing and fixing the problem the FIRST time and recommending services that you REALLY need. It's exactly what I experienced. I made an appointment and there was no long wait. Ephremn my Service Advisor provided an explanation of my problem and assessment of my truck. My repair and additional service were completed within an hour and the cost was way less than going to the dealer. They recommended services that I should consider for the near future but no up sell or pressure. I no longer have to look for a repair shop because I found a GREAT one for the life of my Toyota (which I'm hoping to last a very long time) or the next one. Thanks LexTechs!
