Wow! What an honest company! I had a few estimates and was shopping around and called Superior Moving and Storage. Their estimate was higher than the other ones I received and at first I felt like they were ripping me off. I had my mind set that I wasnt going to use them, and the day after my estimate the owner did what he said was a routine call back and out of curiosity I questioned him on why his quote was higher than the other 2 I got. He explained to me that where I live there is no close truck access and there was a fee for the men to walk the extra distance with all my furniture. He said they include this in the initial estimate so the price is accurate the day of the move and there are no surprises. He even told me to call the other companies and ask them if there was a ""long carry"" fee and if I would be charged it on the day of the move. Sure enough, they were both reluctant to admit it, but they would most definielty charge that fee. And there's was $50.00 more than Superior's! Right away I called back and put a deposit for Superior Moving. I appreciate how honest this company is and if I had booked with the other companies I probably would be writing a negative review right now!
