Service Department! We took our new 2014 Escape in for its first oil change on January 10th, 2015. The man changing the oil was Edward, \r

The car has a skip-plate that covers the underside of the engine and must be removed before you can change the oil/oil filter. Both me and my wife were sitting inside the break-room and could see into the bay area as the oil was being changed. Edward removed 8 screws to remove the skid-plate, but failed to reinstall all 8 screws upon reinstallation of this Skid-plate! Edward only reinstalled 2 screws.\r

When I questioned Edward about this he was white faced, and said to us, ""I think so!? I could check for you! Edward new he had not reinstalled them. I went back to the Service-writer Dug, and told him again the screws didn't get reinstalled...that just after 5 min's from the time Edward finished and drove the car out to us that Edward could remember if he had reinstalled all the screws! BS! He did not!\r

The Service-writer told me I could go back with Edward to see over the reinstallation of the 8 screws, and I told Dug that was his job not my job! \r

This is a big deal because at high speeds this skip-plat might/will blow-off and become a danger to anyone driving the car or another driver on the road!!! If you can't trust the people working on your car then I have a problem with the Dealership!\r

If you can't trust them to replace the screws then what other steps are they skipping???\r

No Quality Control at this Dealership!
