We had COIT come to our home and give us an estimate on re-stretching living room and bedroom carpets, cleaning both carpets and cleaning our bathroom grout. The gentleman who arrived to give us the estimate was very nice and pleasant and the estimate was lower than I had anticipated. The problem arose when the two COIT workers came to my house. They were able to re-stretch and clean the bedroom carpet -BUT- said they could not clean the bathroom grout because ONE tile was cracked. Then they could NOT restretch my living room carpet because the molding was down too tight.
It's not that I don't understand their reasons; however I believe it would help if the gentleman who came the week before to give me the estimate had a little more knowledge. He could easily have told me that if any of the bathroom tiles are cracked that COIT won't clean the grout - and if they can't get under the floor molding - then they cannot restretch the carpet. My husband was able to pull up the molding immediately when he realized where it was and this COULD have been done before they even got there. One hand should know what the other hand is doing. AND it cost COIT money that I was willing to pay... Otherwise - they did a great job.
