Everyone on duty, both at the front desk and in the dining area, was super nice and very professional. We were more than happy with the service we received at every level. In addition, the entrance into the front desk area with its sitting room area was homey and gave off a really nice welcoming vibe. Our whole stay was a wonderful experience from check-in to check-out. The location, set in among a lovely set of trees and foliage, was particularly beautiful and gave a wonderful sense of quiet and calm. Our room was on the ground floor facing the pool and, as I have a disability that requires a handicap tag, we were able to park immediately in the handicap space in front of the passageway with just a short walk to our door. The room itself was perfect; the beds were super comfortable and everything worked just fine. The sense of quiet and calm we had noted in the setting itself continued into the room and gave us a wonderful sense of security. The whole experience was one of the very best I have ever encountered in a hotel and felt like a real ""home away from home."" I would most definitely visit this hotel again if we should have occasion at any time to be in the area. Best Western Fairfax is a real find and a new favorite!
