I paid $134.78 to have a new solid gold 14k lobster claw attached to my 14k gold neckless as an express repair. After a two hour wait I received my neckless back which I immediately checked with a magnet I brought with me and I was shocked to see my new 14k lobster claw stick to the magnet so I showed the clerk Rosaline Williams even before I left the store but she couldn't say why and she called another employee over who said he could not see the magnet grab the neckless and he brought out what he said was a high power magnet and the two clerks said it did not react to there magnet which it didn't So I put the chain in a straight line and put my weak magnet near and the chain was no longer in a line. So they had no choice but to finally agree that my new gold clasp was not 100% gold as I was told before the repair and after. So after I proved what I knew all along they agreed to switch it back and give me my money back. That was when the clerk said the new 14k solid gold lobster claw has a metal spring inside and that's why it was magnetic and so it was NOT 100% gold at this time I was not going to believe a word from there clerks. the clerk handed me my neckless in a bag and said to me ""sorry I was having a bad day"" She was careful not to apologize about saying the claw was 100% 14k gold when it was not and to be very ugly and rude to me after I expressed that something was not right. all I wanted to do was get out of this place as fast as I could. I took my chain they gave me back and hit the door running she says come back I need your card to refund. So I went back and handed my card to the clerk and that's when she said do you want your ($85) lobster claw back? As she was handing it to me. So I said no just through it out. I was so shocked that they did not put the chain back the way it was before they messed with it like they said they would do. I almost left without the other part of my neckless? I called her out on that too and This is when the clerk told me to leave so I did as fast as I could with my chain in two pieces with NO REFUND. These people are not honest and I am still waiting for my money back. Beware if you choose to do business here
