I am pretty new to the area and decided to try this place out. It is an all russian salon..::RED FLAG:: They assume you speak russian so they talk to you in russian. I myself am russian, but do not speak the language. My family is russian so I do understand the language. I spent 30 minutes waiting after getting my hair washed even though I was told I would only have to wait 3 minutes. When I was finally seated, I said hello to my hair dresser and she ignored me. Very rude from the second I sat in the chair. Marina is her name. I asked for a pixie hair cut and Showed her 2 sets of pics on my phone the front and back. She seemed very nervous. But she said she understood. It wasn't until she started buzzing the back of my head, I started to feel nervous. Marina started freaking out in russian saying she doesn't know what she's doing with my hair...that I gave her a bad picture and spent almost 2 hours cutting my hair. Not only did she lie and say I gave her only one picture, but she also at one point ripped my phone out of my hand (without asking me if it was ok) to show her friend the picture because everyone kept asking her what was taking so long. If you can't cut a pixie, then you shouldn't be a hairdresser. At one point, she was talking about how it wasn't working out and she didn't know what she was doing... And her hairdresser friend at the end said ""it's not you, it's her stupid hair!"" They also said I should be charged double for all the trouble I caused them. They weren't aware of the fact that I understood every word they said. I was nothing but nice to everyone and didn't deserve this type of treatment. She shaved the back too short and now I have a buzz cut in the back. I no longer feel feminine.This was by far the worst experience.They also spend more time watching russian movies than cutting hair. Save yourself the trouble. DO NOT GO HERE!
