I went to the Exeter Store and was quoted a price for a dishwasher ( in writing) with certain functions as it turned out when I returned the next day with my wife to purchase the dishwasher the sales person gave me the wrong price and the one that he quoted wasn't even available. It was a difference of $300.00 he admitted he made an insulting offer to make it right! We then settled on a lower price model and wanted to correctly go over the functions of the dishwasher, we asked if the trays were the same as the floor model he said yes...just to be certain we asked him to double check and he could not confirm the actual functions of the model he was selling us! We were willing to pay higher prices in comparison to a larger chain store because their "Guiding Principles" they should revisit that statement!
RESPONSE FROM Martin Appliance:
Kevin,
Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns with us. It is always our goal to provide an exceptional level of service. The price you were originally quoted on the SHE68T56UC was the correct price for that model and the model is available. I am sorry if you were given the impression that this is not the case. The mistake we made was stating that the model we quoted had a water softening feature on it which it does not.
We understand the $300 upgrade cost to the model with that feature is not a good resolution and are sorry we did not take more time to discuss this with you while you were in the store. Our offer stands to sell you the upgraded model at the original quoted price. We hope to do business with you and earn your confidence in our organization.
Kind Regards,
The Martin Appliance Team
