Soundwarehouse is a good shop as far as quality goes.. As far as pricing, they are a rip off. They have no loyalties for returning customers. I've gone there for 3 different system installs, I've also sent a few family members there and yes, they know what they are doing (even if they tend to tack on bs charges). But this last time, I went in for an amp install and possibly a rear speaker swap in my Lexus. A man there told me it might be really easy, or it might take a little time, so to be safe, we decided to wait until Saturday to do it. Saturday comes and they look at everything, the initial $75-$110 quote has now shot up to upwards of $220 and they suddenly didn't have time. They said I needed new front speakers as well, then ""took it back"" after I showed them the fronts worked perfectly fine. I felt jerked around, this set up should have been easy. I took it to best buy and their staff was awesome. They guy did everything for $20 and it took him about 3 hours. ($20 is not average but the guy hooked it up for some reason AND he did it right then) Needless to say, best buy (in af) > soundware house.
