I had my new used car diagnosed before I bought it at another repair shop. Two weeks later the check engine light came on. I took it in to the same repair shop and they charged me $50 to tell me the code that was coming up. They said it would cost me $270 to fix and would not even include the $50 in that cost. I came to Genesis for a second opinion and Jamie expressed his sympathy that I was charged for finding the code especially after I had paid the shop for the diagnostic test in the first place. He re tested for the code at no charge and quoted me a much more reasonable price ($100 less). He spent the time to explain things to me. He reassured me that Genesis did not engage in those sorts of customer gouging practices. I am now a loyal customer of Genesis.
