The Parole Office branch at the Gateway Foundation on Olive Street has a parole officer that has given me the opinion that she is vindictive, ego-driven, and racist. She also does not listen and only met with my son so that she could call the police for his arrest. My son did not commit any crime during his parole. Yet he was subjected to arrest in the city, was visited by his PO in the lockup (I assume to gloat at his discomfiture), and, at the last minute when bond had been posted, got the county involved. I do not appreciate that she played us, that she did not listen, and that her ego may have been wounded when my son did not carry out some of her orders to the letter. But to play ""psych"" games with her client is unconscionable. I know my son is not perfect, but he does not deserve what he has been experiencing. And, from what I've heard, she treats members of her own race with far greater empathy and humanity. The ball is in the court of the Probation and Parole office. more
