I've actually left this place feeling guilty for not having paid quite what the service was worth (and in a few instances, paid nothing.) This garage is in the NE Mpls arts district, so safe to say lots of us artists, musicians, and writers are driving old cars that we don't bring in until the sh__ hits the fan belt. Not your average garage. For one thing, the mechanics at Turbo Tim's make eye contact, don't talk down to me or ever ask to talk to my husband (this has happened in other shops). It's a busy place, but even in the few emergencies I've had and swung by without an appointment, they've found time to squeeze me in. Most recently one late afternoon before a big holiday when my AC went out and I needed to get on the road. I kind of hate to write a positive review because I consider Turbo Tim's a secret I wouldn't share with just anybody.
