It's hard to find good seafood in NW Oklahoma so when we are on the coast, I eat as much as I can. We were staying on Galveston Island and started looking on the west end for a good fish joint. We found one! It's a fair drive to Surfside Beach from mid island but the trip was worth it. The restaurant is a casual almost family atmosphere. It was clean and neat. The servers and staff were attentive. The beer and wine list were good. Mrs Eva had the snapper New Orleans - the Alfredo sauce was good and the fish was nicely prepared. I had the snapper Pontchartrain. The fish was lightly breaded and baked, then smothered in the sauce. Both dishes were very tasty. We were well pleased with our dining choice and enjoyed the experience very much.
