We just returned from a stay at Hotel Manor. We found the cabin to be a very quaint, the staff friendly and the food was great. \r

We were on a motorcycle road trip with friends - the ride in was beautiful and the location of the hotel on Pine Creek is just as scenic. It is very unfortunate that a tornado had passed through the area just before our arrival and up rooted a bunch of trees. \r

After the restaurant/bar closed the staff joined us on the deck for drinks and made us feel very welcome and their attitudes were great.\r

In my opinion, if you don't feel that you're getting the service you deserve, you need to speak up. You're in a busy atmosphere and the restaurant staff are human - they are capable of making mistakes and missing you; let them know. This is a casual atmosphere; it’s a lodge in the woods and people need to learn to relax and leave their bad attitudes at home and take in the fresh air. \r

I would recommend this road trip and hotel to anyone, and I can see us returning in the future. Just know that you can't eat the ice cream for breakfast....once you visit, that'll make more sense. With that said, the breakfast burritos will make up for that lack of ice cream.
