What a great choice we made! We traveled from Maryland to visit Niagara Falls and decided to bring our 13 year old Toy Poodle with us. We thought it would be a great opportunity for him to enjoy part of the vacation with us, since it is such a “pet friendly” vacation with all of the outdoor activities and parks. We made a reservation for two of the days we were in Niagara Falls at Debbie’s Doghouse so that we could have a couple of days to ourselves to go to dinner, ride the maid of the mist, journey behind the falls, etc. Debbie’s Doghouse is a clean, very “cute” and unique boarding facility. Their website has tons of information that makes it easy to prepare for boarding of your pet. I knew exactly what to expect before setting foot in the place. Once I arrived, I met Earl (one of the owners), who was very nice and you can tell is passionate about what he does. He asked me what temperature I keep our home and then chose a suite with the closest temperature so that our doggy would be as comfortable as possible. Our poodle stayed in one of the upgraded condos that seem to simulate an indoor home environment. This was perfect for my pooch! When we came to pick him up, I noticed a screen in the front office with cameras in each room to monitor the guest-pets. I saw my little guy enjoying the mini bed in his room.
