My daughter and I drove over an hour to come to this store for a pointe fitting. The owner of Bottoms Up, who is also the pointe shoe fitter there, is extremely rude and offensive. She insulted my daughter the entire time we were there. She also claimed that my daughter has no respect for corrections teachers give her, and that she thinks she knows everything. For the record, my daughter never argued with the fitter, or refused to do anything. I also called my daughter's main ballet teacher, and asked if that were true. Her ballet teacher said she always does what she's asked, she's very sweet, and never rude. Her school teachers also describe her exactly the same way - pleasant, and very sweet. My daughter was in the car crying after all the insults she endured from this woman when we left there. So, if my daughter wasn't doing everything she could to smile while being insulted, I guess that's what makes her such a bad person in the Bottoms Up owner's eyes. I am telling every single person I know just how nasty, and rude this woman is so they don't endure the same thing. The owner also told me she has a degree in Psychology. Well, she needs to go back, and re-do that degree. She didn't learn enough. If she wants people to return to her business, she needs to learn that honey catches more bees. Please do not force your child to endure this woman's nastiness. I didn't tell her off, and I only spoke up to her once. Shame on me. I should have completely chewed her out. We will NEVER go back.
