The one in Carlsbad robbed me blind. Stated that I was qualified to file according to the means test, but later found out from the legal assistant that the attorney had entered the wrong amount of dependents for me. As it turns out, I was not qualified. But that didn't stop them from trying to convince me to go finance another vehicle to ""make me qualified."" Why would I do that if I'm trying to get OUT of debt? Next they offered to ""adjust"" my income, insisting that the board of trustees wouldn't check that information. I had already paid over $1100 at this point and couldn't get my money back. The spineless attorney Mike Doan wouldn't return my calls or even discuss it. Not even when his own assistant sent him a reminder email from HER computer in my presence. They did, however, find the time to send me an inflated bill for ""services"" that they claimed to have completed on my filing. None of which was correct because no one did anything until I had made the final payment. \r
CROOKS, CROOKS, CROOKS. As far as I'm concerned, the whole family should be put out of business. If this is how they treat a veteran of 16 years, I wonder how they treat others?
