BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED HANDS DOWN. THEY DO NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS. THESE PEOPLE ARE LIARS AND THIEVES, STAY AWAY!!!!\r \r I signed up for Girsh Alarm in June of 2013 because I purchase a home where one of their systems was already installed. On November 20th 2013 I called the company because I had a power outage and my system failed and the status light went on. I called to report the issue and was told that a technician would call me back shortly to resolve the issue. I waited 2 weeks for a return call and did not receive one, so I called back to cancel my service. That was on December 3rd. I was then told that I would have someone call me back to help me, and again no call back. On December 5th I received a call from a technician who asked about the issue I was having and I told him I didn't need the technician anymore since that issue was over 2 weeks before, I just wanted to talk to a customer service rep who could help with my problem. The technician assured me someone would call back, and again no one did. I then called back Girsh on December 11th and told them I would not hang up until I got a customer service rep on the phone, which I finally did. I explained my issues to the rep who was sympathetic and apologetic, but told me the company has a strict policy of no refunds, even though they were in breach of contract for not returning my service calls. She told me she would send me a cancellation form and speak to an owner about a possible refund due to their breach of contract. I did not receive the form, nor did I receive the promised phone call in regard to my issues. I then had to call back again on December 17th and spoke to a different rep, who was absolutely the rudest customer service rep I have ever dealt with in my life. At the end of a heated conversation that rep also told me she would email me a cancellation form and assured me that I would get not a penny back from them, even the months that I had prepaid for which haven't even been serviced yet. Today is December 19th and I still did not receive the email with the cancellation forms. I called back this morning and spoke to the original, somewhat helpful rep, who finally sent me the cancellation form. She also informed me that the rude person who I was speaking to on the 17th was in fact the owner of the company, Jodie Girsh. This was a shock to me, because when I had asked her if I could speak to the owner of the company, Jodie told me that it was a big corporation and she couldn't get a hold of the owner, when in fact she was the owner. more
