This is Tommy Ripley. I am the owner of Ripley's Muffler. I am sorry to hear about your situation with the Muffler. I have attempted to respond, previously on another review site. I am a little confused too, you're right a muffler should last more than a year and although our manufacturer only guarantees their product for one year (as most manufacturers). On the rare occasion we see a muffler fail, we almost always extend beyond the one year guarantee unless there is another problem that created the failure. We pride ourselves, at Ripley's for treating the customer as we would wish to be treated. I am at the shop every day, Feel free to come by and personally discuss any issues. more
