Our Experience with Jim Taylor Ford\r \r On Sunday night, we drove through the lot and found the car that we wanted. On Monday, we contacted a sales manager at the lot (Joe), in order to negotiate and to purchase the car. After three days of heavy negotiating, we came to an agreed, set cost. On Thursday, we went to the lot to purchase the car. After already paying the said amount in cash, we were told that we couldn't purchase the car for that amount. Reason being that the sales manager that we had been dealing with for three days, did not have the authority to finalize any sort of ""deal"". In conclusion, we did purchase the car, but not for the price that we had negotiated. We believe that we have been cheated, lied to, and falsely promised a ""deal"" that that did not keep. Therefore, we will have no further dealings with your company.\r \r After about ten miles of driving the car (heading home), the oil, battery, and alternator lights came on. The RPM gauge and the odometer gauge went flat. I immediately called the dealership and informed them what was going on. I then had to exit the interstate, turn around, and take the car back to the lot. After a brief inspection, they agreed to inspect and repair any problems and lent us a rental car at no charge. Disappointingly, as of now, we are still waiting for our new car.\r \r John and Jenn Ickes\r more
