I recently went to the Now Care at South Independence for the first time after my primary doctor wouldn't see me because they didn't take appointments after 3:45 and the incident happened at 3:30. Unfortunately for me I got my finger caught in the door- jam of a metal door and it was bleeding profusely. I was going to go to the Emergency room when I passed the Now Care, so I turned around. I didn't know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised at how fast registering and being seen was. I was a total mess because I knew I had damaged my finger and I was by myself. The medical tech, radiology tech, PA and doctor were so compassionate and understanding to my needs. The next day the staff from Now Care called to make sure I was okay. I went in two days later to have the dressing changed. Thank you to the staff at Now Care at S. Independence for caring.
