Since my presence was required to drop the door off, they should have contacted me to make an appointment. Instead, the driver called me when he reached a point 10 miles away from home when I couldn't leave work.
RESPONSE FROM DOORS DIRECT:
Our shippers are instructed to call and make an appointment for delivery. Calling ahead is the norm; however giving a 10 minute lead time is unacceptable and not normal. We will send your comment to the delivery agent for further details. You would be quite within your rights to explain that they need to deliver with more advanced notice.
