I absolutely would not recommend Mariposa Townhouse Apartments. This place was recommended by a current tenant to me so I figured OK, must be a good place to live... so I applied w/ a co-applicant. Ended up being denied -- why you ask? I ask that too! They just tell me 'Our head office denied it.' OK, well why? 'You need to contact the credit bureaus.' OK first off, they don't do the approving and denying - any idiot knows that -- so she's in the business of spewing bs. Secondly, when I asked for the phone # of the head office she says, 'I don't give that out.' -> That clearly says 'When we screw people, we want you to have no recourse.' Awesome -- so clearly a crappy complex with crappy management. However, it appears ORS 90.304 provides remedy for this.
