Refused to honor the price posted on the Internet for a new car. Listing included the VIN and dealer stock along with matching details and photos of the new car on the lot. Salesman wrote up the paperwork for the LIST PRICE and when confronted with the Internet listing information stated that it was a ""generic"" listing for a similar car. The story then changed to the listing was for a ""demo"" vehicle with 9,000 miles as ""dealers in Illinois are allowed to sell demo cars as new""--huh? They then tried to show me the ""invoice"" for the vehicle (which means nothing as we know as the car manufacturer will rebate money to the dealer after the sale) and actually has nothing to do with the advertised selling price. After calling FRAUD and threatening to contact the States Attorney's office, I was allowed to purchase the vehicle at the correct price. Wait to finalize was unbearably long. Dealer's customer ""advocate"" person was sitting at a desk in the middle of the sales floor shopping online. Absolutely worst new car buying experience ever (and I have purchased many throughout the years). Will never return to Raymond. more
