This place is the real deal. Excellent food. Five stars. Real old school Southern Italian homestyle cooking but as with any good/great restaurant these days prepared somewhat lighter and with very fresh flavors. Bravo! Especially for a Miami joint. Bad reviews sound like Clint Eastwood, buyers remorse or plants by competition. There is no competition. You get what you pay for and prices are surely reasonable for what you are getting. Any sophisticated diner will agree it is a solid place... even on those nights with the B team going its better than most A teams here in MIA.
