We bought an Electrolux French door model refrigerator in July. We were forced into a purchase due to a sudden death of our previous unit but after a couple of days of comparison shopping we decided it was in our best interest to buy from Martin Appliance due to the potential service needs and the recommendations from several friends that Martin's would not let us down if they were needed. So far, so good and no need for service calls, but you never know.
The model that we bought was not, actually, the one that we intended originally because the morning of delivery when they were prepping to deliver they discovered that the unit was damaged inside the packaging. We were contacted immediately and the situation reviewed BEFORE they even loaded it onto the truck and attempted to deliver. I asked for digital photos of the damage, they emailed me immediately and I was able to quickly make a decision that I did not want the unit despite the offering of a discounted price. (The location of the refrigerator in my house would have still exposed the dents to plain view, otherwise I may have taken the offer!) Unfortunately it was the last of the color/model that I chose and the manufacturer was changing designs and the new design would not be available until 8 weeks away - too long when I already was without a refrigerator.
I went to the store, picked out another unit and they literally followed me home with it on the truck. Immediate satisfaction. It's been working like a champ so far.
I would recommend this team anytime to anyone. In my opinion, this same sequence of events would not have been handled like this from a big box store or large home supply chain store. Keep up the good work, Martin Appliance!
