Today I was at Capital ford for 2 hours and left when we were off by a few dollars a month on a new 2011 vehicle that was still on the lot. I was fine with not getting this vehicle, as I do not need a car but kind of wanted one. A few hours later I get a call from my sales person saying, ""Great news if you come back here we can make the deal happen with the terms we talked about earlier."" So I drive back to the dealer to sit and wait for another hour and half before getting back to finance. Once I got back to Finance dept I noticed they added 1 more year to the length of the financing which was not what we talked about earlier. There was never a mention of this and I think just expected me to sign it. I told the finance guy this isn't what the sales person told me on the phone, and they just wasted my time. The Finance guy didn't have an answer for me and was not helpful in getting the situation resolved. I said they were unprofessional and this was terrible customer service. The sales person told a lie to get me back in the store and just waste my time. They just said sorry and couldn't do anything else for me. So I left and will be sure to tell everyone I know about my experience with capital ford. If they wish to make it right and agree to the terms they called me back saying we had, I will update this post. Otherwise do not waste your time with this dealer and be sure to pay close attention so they don't try to pull a fast one on you.. I am sure Cross Roads Ford down the street will be happy to get my business.
