My son attended Kiddie Academy for the summer and was supposed to go into their Kindergarten program. They gave away his Kindergarten slot because the staff are not prepared and do not communicate to each other. While attending the school my son was hurt by one of the teachers. Gwen was her name and she told me she held him in a corner with her foot. She also made sure to avoid the cameras that they have placed in the rooms so that we could not see what she was doing to my son. All my son did was try and play with a truck and dump out some beans. Gwen seemed to get WAY too upset by this and became visibly violent. She took my child off camera and then stood up and so I can only guess and go by what she said she did... which she said she put her foot on him and held him in a corner. The director said that Gwen was wrong and that she would get her more training and then made Gwen a full time 5 year old teacher... so I have had to remove him from that daycare. It is a poorly managed daycare with teachers that are abusive. I originally signed up because I talked to Char (who appears to be one of the best daycare workers) too bad she works for such a poorly run daycare.
