Disaster Cleanup Services were super nice and good to work with. They were not the most awesome company I've ever dealt with but still very good. I hired them to get the water out of my flooded basement. They came the same night, called me up, and left the equipment there for a couple days without charging extra. That was really nice because with how much I paid, I thought they'd better leave it for long enough to dry out.
Since the basement room was flooded, they cut out some wall, pulled up my carpet padding, and dried it out. Then they left their fans there for about 9 days.
As for communication, they said they would call sometime tomorrow, then they would show up 10 minutes before arriving or when they were already at the house. I just had to leave a key outside, since they didn't specify a specific time like 10:30 or something, they just called when they were ready.
