All freight services now offer ground shipping to Hawaii at relatively inexpensive rates. Doors Direct chooses not to utilize this service. Thereby cutting out almost all customers from Hawaii.
RESPONSE FROM DOORS DIRECT:
Shipping to Hawaii has always caused us problems in getting our product there undamaged.
We crate the door in export crates which adds to the shipping cost and the doors still arrive damaged.
We offer shipping to a port of the customers choice in the US, but it is up to the customer to arrange the shipping/ customs to Hawaii. We are sorry for the inconvenience but we want our doors to arrive in perfect condition and if they dont we replace them which is not cost effective for Hawaii.
