I have attended 2 wedding/receptions at Ayva; one in January and one July, 2012. Both events were stand in line for room temperature food with small portions of dry roasted potatoes and tasteless chicken. Later, I saw the waitstaff walking out with plastic grocery sacks of food. Why serve the guests when they were feeding their families. \r
The cash bar was charging $8 for 5 oz mixed drinks.\r
The Mother of the Groom wanted to take home the extra (dry) cupcakes and asked for a to-go box and the room manager was asked a couple times and never came with boxes. With what you pay for cakes and cupcakes, one would think you could take home the extras.\r
The ladies' room was not cleaned during the event and was over run by paper and water around a couple toilets.\r
The waitstaff was slow about cleaning empty plates from the tables. Gross!\r
I feel badly for the couples who had to pay for such poor service. \r
