NOT HANDICAPPED-FRIENDLY. I went to this restaurant yesterday with my elderly parents. My father is 92, requires a walker for ambulation, and has a handicapped license plate. Ashiana's has 2 handicapped parking spaces with a ramp between them right in front of the restaurant, but when we went there right around 5:30 (opening time), BOTH parking spaces were blocked by ONE car that was parked so as to completely block the ramp. I inquired inside and was told that the car was there because they (the restaurant) were going to be loading some food in the car. So instead of being able to use the handicapped parking spots and ramp, we had to get my father out of the car in the middle of the parking lot and then lift him up onto the sidewalk over the curb. I never saw anything loaded into that car until we had almost finished our meal about an hour later, when 2 quite able-bodied workers finally walked out with a large white cooler and put it in the car. At one point earlier than that the car was moved so that it took up only one of the handicapped parking places and didn't block the ramp any longer, but as my mother pointed out to them, this was still illegal. Anyway, they never cared.
