I frequent Ridgewood Auto Wash about 3 times a month for my two cars. Today, I was brining in my car for the weekly wash and I notice an abandoned car at the beginning of the car wash line and with 3 lengths of car gap in front. I am in the street waiting to turn in so I honk….I honk again….and then again. Nothing. I don’t want to hold up traffic so I pull around the car (and so does another customer). All the sudden one of their employees comes to my car and aggressively gets in my face. I told him I was honking and it looked like someone had abandoned the car. He leaves, moves the abandoned car and then gets in my face again. I feel uncomfortable so I leave the line while he moves another car into the staging lane.
All in all, I spend about $1,500/year with this company and I was treated like garbage today. Well, I won’t be going there anytime soon. I’ll go to Ho-Ho-Kus Hand Wash from now on.
I also used to do my oil changes there. That business will go elsewhere as well. I have no need to be threatened when I am trying to conduct business
