Where do I begin. Firstly, I am aware that Group USA has great deals and with that, sometimes you have to forgo some niceties when trying on wedding gowns, like someone to personally assist you. However, my experience was down right awful, especially since I have been there before when a dear friend was looking for a gown and she had a nice experience.
I had an appointment, which upon arrival, I learned meant nothing at all. It was insanely crowded, and someone approached me (Never introduced herself) and asked me when my wedding date was and told me to start looking and actually ran away. I began to look, and not knowing what my size is, picked up a wide variety of sizes. When I was finally ready to try on this saleswoman took them from me, and said I can not try on anything until I fill out paperwork. I waited for 5 minutes for the paper work until she told me it was on the desk. When I asked for a pen she snapped at me and said it was ""right there."" but it wasn't and she had to begrudgingly retrieve it for me. When I was ready to try on, she looked at me and my sizes and told me they will not fit. I explained to her I wasn't sure of my sizes and she yelled at me that ""you are a 6 or 8"" and walked away. I put myself into the room and tried on the gowns I had not having any other direction or help. She came back to check on me said she will get another size and be back. Another 5 minutes past and she came and asked me what I needed. I told her I was waiting for her to get me the other size. After waiting, she NEVER came back. I decided then and there to just leave and got dressed. As I was leaving she stopped me and told me ""she couldn't find my size."" I wish she told me sooner because I have no idea when I would have gotten that information.
As I was leaving, she asked if I was done and I told her yes, I feel like I was being treated very rudely and I would not like to do business there. She asked who treated me rudely, to which I responded ""You!"" and left.
Do yourself a favor and get a dress elsewhere... you can find nice affordable dresses elsewhere, and it's your day. It should be a fun and memorable experience, not one where you get agitated and settle for something you don't love!
