My experience with Paul's driving school is mixed. I gave 5 stars because of â??Al the Specialistâ??. He was so calm and professional. His rate is a bit higher than other people but his lesson is definitely worthwhile, and more importantly he was so nice and professional to deal with a nervous driver like me.
The person who scheduled my lesson was very nice and worked with my schedule. I also got a confirmation call two days before my actual lesson. Then on the day of lesson, nobody showed up so I called them again. I was told that they messed up my appointment and had an issue. They did not apologize at all regarding the reason why the schedule was messed up or why I was not notified. They just told me I can call them later for another appointment, or another instructor will come in an hour and half, which I found ridiculous. Then an instructor at the driving school (I decided not to reveal all the names) and explained the reason why my schedule was messed up but could not explain why I was not notified at all.
I read reviews and decided to ask for Al. I called them back again and Al offered a free 30 minute lesson. He came in less than 15 minutes. He was so calm and professional! He was just so great!! As I told him that I have a driverâ??s license already and want to brush up my driving skill, he took me to highway right away. After the 30 minute lesson, I felt so confident of my driving. I definitely need a couple more hours of lesson, I think, but I feel very confident and less nervous.
Although his rate can be higher than other instructors, if people need only 1 â?? 2 time lessons with him, it will be better, I think.
