I've been to nobu in L.A. and NY, Tao, Uptown Sushi, and many sushi places in major cities/ that are well known. However, the sea bass at 400 Sage is untouchable. It is delectable. Simple as that. I am pretty critical, and I give 400 Sage 100 + points in the respect of BEING ORIGINAL! If I see a roll from 400, it won't take long to guess where it's from. When you have a taste of 400 Sage , you just know it's from there. It is unique, cozy, and fun. I LOVE it, and I even get sea bass with drawls.
