I wanted to get service turned on at my new address. They claimed it was ""un-serviceable"" because someone left that address owing $153. They won't turn on the service unless I drive to their office, show them my lease, etc. At $4 a gallon for gas and the hour or 2 that it will take, I now have to show the burden of proof. So some deadbeat can skip out on the bill and Comcast puts the responsibility on the next person to handle their scoff attitude. . more
