Currently in the process of having WJ Banks Glass replace 13 windows in my house. The quality of the material and work by the installers is great. However, during the process today, one of the workers got injured and the other installer couldn't proceed on his own. I understand things happens and people get hurt, but the single installer was able to install 2 on his own, and then chose to stop and said that we'll have to reschedule. So...will have to take another day off work to be home for this.
SO why the 2 stars...here's the story
One Installer arrived late, told between 8:30 and 9, came around 9:45 (At least he called)....second installer came about 30 minutes later. At 11, they took lunch for about an hour. Came back at 12...started working again. Installer got hurt and left around 12:45. Second installer worked through 2 more windows and around 2 said we would have to reschedule for another day.
So they worked in total 3.5 hours.
Got a call from the WJ Bank Glass Office, and the woman on the phone jumped right into scheduling an appointment. No apologies, nothing. Asked if it's normal for her workers to work just 3.5 hours in a day, she said I don't know about that. She can't be bothered with emotion or understanding. It's not easy for people to take 2 days off work!
Will finish this business with them, and no more. Have had them do work in my home before and have referred many people to them over the years, not again.
Had other estimates, but all were in the same price range with Bank Glass being a bit more, but trusted their service and reputation as a local business. My Mistake....
