Yesterday I took two $75 pocket knives and a cheap kitchen knives in to be sharpened. The pocket knives were sharp, but, not to the level I want them. The kitchen knife was dull. I should have noticed the unprofessional appearance/attitude, the cheap quality of the knives for sale, the fact that only 3-4 minutes were spent sharpening all three knives. My pocket knives were ruined, the kitchen knife... I really don't care. I will never, for any reason, go back. I would rather go to trade days to get a knife sharpened. My pocket knives had a worse edge than when they were taken in, and had more metal lost than in ten years of proper sharpening. 20 year old pocket knives reduced to tool box knives.
