Wanted to take my girlfriend for a nice get away. booked a room at the Egg Harbor Inn of the Dove. We get there, it looked run down from the outside. We arrived around 5:30 P.M. Go into the office to register, seems a little dirty. We had a room in the back, so we walk across the sidewalk, no landscaping at all done on the place and there were a couple of ladders laying around.
We go into the room. The hot tub looked old and dirty, with the faucet leaking. This was right behind the bed, so if the water wasn't over the jets the bed got wet. The bathroom was missing a fixture, maybe a boudet, as there were pipes sticking out of the floor. A couple of the bulbs were burnt out and there were switches that did nothing. We had the honeymoon suite, it just didn't have any ""wow factor"". very cheesey and overall in poor condition, the rooms didn't seem updated to me. For what we paid for the room, $175, it was a waste of money. I would suggest going somehwere else, there is an Econo Lodge down the road that looked nicer, had jacuzzis and was probably cheaper. Run, don't walk, away from this place.
