Six years later and I'm finally affording a revision rhionoplasty - that is after Dr. Hackney botched the first one. It's not a matter of whether or not I'm a patient that can be pleased but instead that Dr. Hackney did a mediocre job - two noticeable problems with my nose are that the angles are wrong and the tip isn't secured thus it hangs low (among other things!). But I was told these are all ""improvements"" by Dr. Hackney. What frustrates me more is that I knew it was not done right back in 2006 but his ego was too big to admit it and he sent me on my way. $7K was a very pricey lesson to learn. Oh, and my revision rhinoplasty is only costing me 1/2 of the insane price that Dr. Hackney charged. And I'm not going the ""affordable"" route but rather have found a plastic surgery institute that I have come to love and trust since 2007. Unlike Dr. Hackney and his staff, I now go to a place which employs a staff which is experienced, supportive and knowledgeable.
