I'm getting married in May and have been wearing wigs for the pass year. My best friend happened to find her website because I desperately need someone to style this $300 full lace wig I bought for my wedding and honeymoon. I ca;;ed and got a pleasant voicemail and was excited to hear such a pleasant voicemail. I called her back later and talked to Monica and she set up a consultation on Sunday. I called a few times before Sunday to confirm the appointment because it was a 40 minute drive and gas is $4.17 / gallon for premium gas (what I have to use in my car...argh). Anyway. she did not answer or return any phone calls. But I went anyway. I got the address off the website (brookhurst dr) and went to a building that appeared to be a place that does taxes and it appeared it may have a salon upstairs. So I called again to make sure I was at the right place. Still no answer from Monica. So I call the number on the upstairs window of the building. Someone answered the phone and said she was at chruch. So I told her I set up a consultation with someone and she said maybe it was someone else at the shop. So I hung up and continued to call the cell number where I reached her ONCE, but to no avail. So while I sat in the parking lot for 30 minutes, I started googling to see if there was anothe address. I did find an address that was around the corner so I went to that address. It was less than a mile away and couldn't find a location there. SO I continued to google and call her thinking she must be in a shop SOMEWHERE and I'm just lost. Well she never answered. But while googling, I found this site and saw all these negative reviews. I am so appreciative of the reviews. While I do believe some of the positive reviews are real, I find it akward that all the reviews are either 1 star or 5 stars. Back and forth reading through the reviews. But when I read reviews, if I see more thana few negative reviews, the positive reviews become skewed because I feel that there are too many people who had negative experience and I would be taking my chances. Well I can't afford to do that with a $300 wig. And I think it is horrible business to not EVER call the customer back. So that also left me believing more of these negative reviews are true than the positive. I'm actually glad sh didn't show up now because I don't have time to play with unprofessional people. I guess some people just live on a different level where certain actions are acceptable to them because they live around people who act the same way. But I try to surround myself with people who know how to act and I definitely won't waste my money on someone who obviously seems to not know howto conduct themselves in business. I started to call from another number to see if she woul ever answer againm but I realize I'm still not going to go to her so there is no need to waste any more time or gas on this lady.
